Your position at home closed properly, and on the record
A US LLC we form, file and maintain
One price a year, billed only once the company exists
- Still tax resident without knowing it
- The 183-day question
- Ties you never counted
- A home still available to you
- Trips back that count
- An exit charge you did not expect
- Non-resident, on the record
- A US LLC in your name
- Stripe and a US bank
- Invoices that just work
- One annual cycle
- Nothing left open at home
The problem
You moved. The structure stayed.
You are in Bali, Lisbon or Tbilisi. The company, the invoices and the tax number are still in the country you left. So that country keeps taxing you, at its rates, on money you earn nowhere near it.
Your clients
Paying by invoice or by card, from wherever they are.
Sole trader or GmbH
Registered at an address you no longer live at.
You
Still tax resident. Still filing. Still paying home rates.
Home tax office โ takes its cut before you see any of it
- Registered at your parents' address, or a flat you still hold
- Filing at home rates on income earned nowhere near home
- Clients pay into a home-country bank
- No record of when โ or whether โ you actually left
Your clients
Nothing changes for them. Same invoices, same card.
US LLC
Formed, filed and maintained by us. You are the sole member.
You
Deregistered at home, with the dates and the paperwork to prove it.
- Deregistered, with the filing and the date on record
- A US LLC that we form, file and keep compliant
- Clients pay the LLC โ Stripe, Wise, a US bank account
- Your position at home is settled and documented
Start with your country
Leaving is not the same everywhere.
Some countries let you go on a form and a date. Some make you prove you became resident somewhere else first. Find yours before you plan anything.
Clean break
Case by case
Needs a new residency
Not a fit
United Kingdom: Clean break
United Kingdom
Clean break
Day counts or a formal deregistration end it. You do not have to prove a new tax residency to anyone. This is who the offer is built for.
- What ends it
- Leave, and fail the Statutory Residence Test for the year.
- The paperwork
- Form P85 to HMRC, plus the residence pages on your final return.
- The test
- The SRT counts days against your remaining ties โ home, work, family, accommodation.
- How long
- Split-year treatment can apply from the date you leave.
The trap
Ties matter as much as days. Keeping a home available to you in the UK pulls your day allowance down sharply.
This is the group the offer is built for. Eight questions and you will know your route.
Check if you qualifyGeneral information about published rules. Not advice, and not a substitute for it.
Where people run this from
The route out is already well worn.
These are the bases where a UK or German founder can spend a year without picking up a new tax residency by accident. The company follows the person โ not the other way round.

You get on with the business
Banking, invoicing and the annual filings stay ours, every year you are with us.
Ongoing
The only thing you have to do today is the two minutes. Everything after that is ours.
Start with step oneWhat is included
Everything below is in every tier.
The tiers do not gate the structure. The company, the tax ID and the filings are the same whichever one you buy โ the difference is how much of the awkward middle we take off your hands.
US LLC, formed and filed
We form the company and file the articles. You are the sole member.
Registered agent
Required by the state. Covered for the full year, renewed with your plan.
EIN from the IRS
The federal tax ID. Without it there is no Stripe, no bank, no invoicing.
Annual filings
State report and the federal forms a foreign-owned single-member LLC must file.
US business address
A real street address for the company. Not a PO box.
The course
How the structure works, what to keep on file, and what breaks it.
Private community
Other people who have already done this, in the same countries.

Pricing
One price a year. Billing starts when the company exists.
Not when you sign. Preparation runs up to six months in some countries and you do not pay for that window.
Billing starts when the LLC is formed
Not when you sign. Preparation can take up to six months depending on your country, and you do not pay for that window.
Yearly is 25% cheaper than half-yearly
Same service either way. Paying annually costs a quarter less.
We are not a law firm or a tax firm
We form and maintain the company and we hand you the deregistration pack. Where your facts need a licensed opinion, we say so.
Before you spend two minutes on the quiz
This works for a narrow group of people.
This is you
- Not a US citizen and not a green card holder
- From a country where you can deregister โ UK, Germany, Austria, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Poland, Czechia
- Already living outside that country, or leaving within the year
- Under 183 days in any single country
- You sell services or digital products, not physical goods
This is not you
- US citizen or green card holder โ tax follows citizenship
- Settling in one country and staying there
- You need an actual tax residency certificate โ we refer you on
- Physical products, inventory, or a warehouse
- Regulated models: gambling, lending, anything needing a licence
If the right-hand column is you, the quiz says so and stops. Nobody calls you.If โThis is not youโ is you, the quiz says so and stops. Nobody calls you.
Questions
The objections, answered before the call.
These are the ten things people actually ask. If yours is not here, the quiz result page has a way to send it to us.
Is this legal?
Yes. Leaving your home tax system is a documented process every one of these countries publishes rules for, and forming a US LLC as a non-resident is ordinary company formation. The part that gets people in trouble is doing one without the other: running a US company while still tax resident at home solves nothing. That is why the order matters, and it is the first thing we look at.
Will I pay zero tax?
We will not tell you that, because it depends on your country, your citizenship, where you actually spend your days, and what you sell. A US LLC owned by a non-resident with no US presence is generally not taxed in the US at the company level, but your personal position depends on where you are resident once you leave. The quiz asks the questions that decide it.
What about exit tax?
Germany and Austria can charge exit tax where you hold 1% or more of a corporation. Canada charges a departure tax on a deemed disposition of assets. France charges on large shareholdings. If you are in that position we flag it before you file anything, because the sequence matters and it is not always cheaper to leave this year.
Do I have to leave right now?
No. The prep window runs up to six months for some countries, and your billing does not start until the LLC is actually formed. People commonly start the paperwork one tax year and complete the exit in the next.
What if I move back home later?
You become tax resident again from the date you return, and the LLC has to be looked at in that light. Some people close it, some keep it and restructure. Tell us on the call if a return is likely โ it changes what we set up.
Can I actually get a bank account?
Yes, and this is the part people underestimate. An EIN and a US address are the entry requirements, and the account still depends on your nationality, your residence and what you sell. Banking help is in the Complete tier for that reason. Essential does not include it.
Will Stripe work?
A US LLC with an EIN and a US address is a standard Stripe entity. Your payout bank and your own residence still matter to their review. We set the company up so it presents cleanly.
What happens after year one?
The annual filings, the registered agent and the address all renew. You pay the same yearly price and we keep the company compliant. Nothing about the structure needs rebuilding.
I need a real tax residency somewhere, not just to leave.
Then this is the wrong product and we will say so on the quiz. Spain and Italy will ask for a tax residency certificate from another country, and Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark have multi-year tails. We refer those cases to a partner who does exactly that.
Can I just buy the cheapest tier without talking to anyone?
Not this week. The self-serve checkout is being finished, so Essential is set up on a short call in the meantime โ same price, same product, and it is a shorter call than the other tiers get because there is less to decide. When the checkout is live the quiz will send simple cases straight to it.
Eight questions. Then you know.
The quiz tells you which country band you are in, what leaving is worth against the tax you pay now, and what it costs. If you are not a fit, it says so and sends you a guide instead of a calendar link.
No payment, no call booked, no email needed to see your result.
