What we do, and what we do not
The limits of this offer, stated plainly, because the difference matters more here than in most businesses.
We are not a law firm or a tax firm
taxresidency.org forms and maintains US LLCs and supplies deregistration materials for your home country. We are not lawyers, we are not accountants, and nothing on this site is legal or tax advice.
Where your situation needs a licensed opinion — an exit charge, a disputed residence, a second entity — we will say so and we will not pretend otherwise to keep a sale.
We do not grant tax residency
We help you end tax residency in your home country and run your business through a US LLC that we form and maintain. That is a different thing from acquiring a tax residency somewhere else.
If your country requires a tax residency certificate from another jurisdiction before it will release you — Spain and Italy commonly do — this offer does not solve your problem, and we will refer you to someone whose does.
We do not promise a tax outcome
We will not tell you that you will pay zero tax. What you pay depends on your citizenship, your country's rules, where you actually spend your days, what you sell and to whom.
A US LLC owned by a non-resident with no US trade or business is generally not taxed in the US at the entity level. Your personal position is a separate question and it is the one that matters.
Country information on this site
The country explorer summarises published rules — day counts, named forms, exit charges. Rules change, and summaries lose detail by design. Check the current position with your own tax office or an adviser before you file anything.
